How did you come to PNB Banka, what was the beginning of your carrier?

I came to the Bank when I was studying on the MA program and, at first, I started to work in the Unit of Technical Documentation Development. The first work was related to forming users‘ documentation for the automated system’s modules. Two years afterwards, I noticed the vacancy posted by the Bank in the product development unit, applied for that and soon started to work on the webpage development and later on product development. Since 2013, I have been working in the Remote System Division of the Bank and one of greatest challenges for me was transition to Euro in Latvia as well as the new webpage development.

 

What was your main gain while working at PNB Banka?

Considering, that the Bank and its services in the operative system is one the main trends of development in the whole world, our work is becoming more significant and complicated. However, this is also interesting since we perform all these works in the Bank on our own. Besides, great experience that we have gained when acquiring the newest technologies and cooperation with employees – this is an integral gain from working in PNB Banka.

 

How would you describe PNB Banka as an employer?

This is a bank that changes and grows. I think this is the best news for each present and perspective employee. If an employee can contribute his knowledge, his value to the development of the Bank, then this employee will have career opportunities, appreciation and all the rest! And, of course, a wish to get involved in the Bank’s work and life is also important.
